A Great Day for Soccer

Today I coached my first soccer game. Addie joined the YMCA soccer team and they had more kids than coaches, so I volunteered to coach Addie's team. I've never coached soccer before, much less played it, but the whole experience was pretty fun. I know that Addie really enjoyed me being out there. We did drills for half an hour, practicing our kicking, passing and throwing skills. We got beat pretty good in the game (6-1) but the weather was awesome - a perfect Minnesota fall day - and the kids got some exercise. Next week, we'll work on our attack and generating more offense, but mostly we'll just be out for some more fun.
