First Grade

Today is Addie's first day of school! She was very excited this morning when she woke up and got dressed right away in her new uniform. She was a little shy when we arrived but soon saw many of her friends and was excited to start the day.

Field Day!

What a day it was! Lindsay hosted Field Day at the beach and the kids had a blast! There were beach races, water races, beer brakes for the team captains, and LOTS of cheating.

Seen but not heard.

I have never seen him so happy as when he is playing on the beach.

Big Pete's Party

All together, we celebrated Dad's 70th birthday with a party on the beach! Surrounded by all his friends and family, Dad was one big smile all night long!





And of course the night wouldn't be complete without a bonfire and some marshmallows...


and even one fore Papa!

Party prep

Dad turned 70 on June 29th. We wanted to honor him and have a party with his family and friends when we were all together at the beach. Here is the invitation, the back side being his birth announcemnt from 1939. The story goes that my grandfather, a Buffalo judge, has this put in the paper when Dad was born.
