The best place in the world!

Our arrival at Bay Beach was the best! Everyone came running out to the car and the kids couldn't get out of their seats fast enough! A year is too long to be away from my favorite place in the world.

Dad and Kelly were coming in from Thursday night races to I skipped down to the B.C.C. to greet them and a few friends as well! So happy to be home :-)

The kids were up early and out to a bit of a windy day, but it didn't stop them for getting into it on the beach. Oh, happy days to come!

Boardwalk Fun Land

Nothing at Fun Land has changed since I was there 10 years ago. Somehow, I think it may be longer than that... The kids had the most fun- especially on the tea cups with the Emerson family, and Addie on the bumper cars with me. Boy, did we laugh. Mac went cruisin' on the fire trucks- not sure the safety regulators have caught up with the Fun Land folks in a while ;-)

In all the traveling I did as a kid, I remember how much I loved making new friends along the way. This one makes me smile. Brendan and Gwen's little girl Lizzie and Mary just it it off! They had so much fun playing on the beach together. We were telling the girls about how Daddy and Brendan have been friends since they were their age. They thought this was so funny! How lucky we are to have such good friends with such nice kids.

We fell into a really nice routine getting to the beach early and playing hard!

Days 2 &3, I was mush more prepared for the beach. I brought more food and drinks, and had a few more shovels. The weather was glorious and the kids had so much fun!
